The cake that started it all... I made this cake for my daughter's animal themed 1st birthday party by following Debbie Brown's book '50 Easy Party Cakes'. I wasn't sure if I wanted to cut the cake on the day, so made animal cupcakes for the guests 'just in case'. They were a hit! I had so much fun making the cakes that I got hooked and have been designing my own novelty cakes and cupcakes since!
